Trosolwyg
I am lecturer in French Studies at the School of Modern Languages; I teach across the full range of the French undergraduate programmes (year 1, year 2 and final year), and coordinates the French Language ex-advanced second year module, as well as the translation into French part of the final year language module.
I am the School's academic lead for Disability and Specific Provisions, as well as being part a member of the Recruitment team representing the French programmes and taking part in Open Days and Visit Days.
Addysgu
I am involved at all levels of language teaching in French, from the first to the final year.
I am one of the course teachers on the First Year language course
As Second Year French langue coordinator, I develop the whole Year 2 French language course and teach many of the second year students.
I am also coordinator for the final year “translation into French” course which is a component of the French Language module for Year 4.
I teach on “May ‘68”, which is a very popular Final Year option.
I am always looking at new ways to enhance students’ learning and experience, and over the years I have been involved in piloting for the School new technology to be used in the classroom, such as TurningPoint. More recently, I have taken an interest in testing “online feedback” for French Language students in order to develop it more widely.
