Abstract

European research funding can often seem overwhelmingly complex, and Brexit is an understandable cause for concern.

Catherine Roderick, EU and International Research Officer for the College of Physical Sciences and Engineering, will:

  • give an overview of the main EU research funding streams and the support that the College can offer to prepare high-quality proposals
  • clarify the expected effect of Brexit on UK universities' access to EU funds (which is not all bad news).
  • offer suggestions on easy and low cost ways to find out what funding is available and meet potential consortium partners.
