Computer science and informatics holds the potential to shape our world for the better.

Our undergraduate degrees are informed by the latest internationally recognised research and are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure content is contemporary and relevant. We place a strong emphasis on employability and have established an External Advisory Board (EAB) made up of successful figures from industry and academia who provide guidance, insight and feedback on our learning and teaching.

Applied Software Engineering

Design, code, test and maintain high quality software of your own and gain the skills of a professional programmer.

Computer Science

These degrees will equip you with the transferable technical, analytical and professional skills required by employers.

All Computer Science-based degrees share a common first year, providing an introduction to the fundamental aspects of computer programming, architecture and design. You will have the opportunity to discover your own areas of interest, and the option of specialising in well-regarded areas of the discipline.

You may also opt to take your Computer Science-based degree over four years with a Year in Industry or Year of Study Abroad.
