The Grangetown community

Grangetown Community
Some of the younger members of the Grangetown community.

The Grangetown community has played an essential part in both the creation and the success of the Community Gateway project.

When asked what they would like to see happen in Grangetown, they provided hundreds of ideas for projects that would not only make Grangetown an even better place to live and work but would bring the community together. Over 50 University-community projects have been launched in Grangetown and expressions of interest for new ones are regularly submitted.

Community Gateway has made it easy for me to meet, engage and work with the diverse range of people living in Grangetown. I can see a difference since the project began working in our area, I feel that it has brought our community closer, especially organisations and individuals who have worked independently but are now collaborating with one another to make Grangetown better for all of us.
