Angus M Scott

Angus Scott is a New York based Executive Coach specialising in leadership and performance in organisational settings.

He is certified in coaching by Brown University in Rhode Island. He works with private clients and organisations to help leaders improve their performance, and manage their careers.

Prior to becoming a coach, Angus had a 35 year career in technology management and leadership. Angus held Managing Director positions at Bank of America, Credit Suisse, and Bridgewater Associates (one of the world’s largest hedge funds). In these companies, Angus spent most of his time as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for technology. He was responsible for technology strategy, transformation, organisational development, operating models, IT governance, and financial management.

During his career Angus developed a passion for mentoring and coaching his team and colleagues, helping people improve their performance and achieve their career goals.

Angus graduated from Cardiff University in 1985 (BSc. Biochemistry). Cardiff is dear to his heart, and he remains close friends with many of the people he met during his time there.

In his spare time, Angus likes to spend time with Jeanine (his wife) and grown up children (both currently studying at universities in the USA), and pursue his passion of music. He plays lead guitar in an alternative rock cover band - The M62s - based in Rye, New York.
