Clinical Optometry

Providing pathways for those studying single modules or pursuing a university award, this programme uses a combination of convenient distance learning with some contact days.

Over 30 modules provide routes for pursuing specialist interests and for continued professional development including: glaucoma, medical retina, acute eye care, paediatric eye care, clinical teaching, low vision, leadership, tear film disorders. Many are accredited for the College of Optometrists' Higher Qualifications.

We offer two start dates for this programme:

Tuition fee discount of £3,400 for eligible Welsh and EU students starting a master’s degree in September 2018.
UK/EU students can now apply for a UK Government postgraduate loan for September 2018.
