UCU industrial action
You may be aware that the UCU trade union, which represents staff in the higher education sector, is currently conducting industrial action at universities across the UK as part of a national dispute over pay, pensions and working conditions. The final day of strike action will coincide with the Postgraduate Open Day and there is the potential for some disruption.
However, we expect the impact on our Open Day to be minimal. We are not currently aware of any changes or cancellations to the published event programme. If changes or cancellations do occur, we will let you know as soon as possible to ensure minimum disruption to your day.
