Visit a real archaeological dig and find out more about Medieval life.

At our FREE open weekend you can;
- Find out what archaeologists do and take a tour of the dig,
- handle medieval objects, and
- recreate the crafts of the past.

Cosmeston is a reconstructed Medieval Village and living heritage site near Penarth, just a short drive from Cardiff. For information and directions visit: www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/cosmeston

Getting Medieval is a collaborative event involving Cardiff University’s School of History, Archaeology and Religion, Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning and the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

Free tours of the dig are also available at 10.30am and 2.30pm throughout the dig season 26th June - 20th July (except Fridays).
