British School at Athens Skills Training Course - 20 credits (HST206)
This module enables students to take a short specialised research skills course at the British School at Athens. The subject of the course varies from year to year: planned topics include Numismatics and Epigraphy. The courses will teach the skills necessary to handle primary material, as well as introducing students to key resources in the field.
The courses normally take place in the spring, and last about two weeks. Further information, including the subjects of forthcoming courses, can be found on the BSA website.
Participation is subject to acceptance on the course. The course fee will be paid out of your MA tuition fees, provided that equivalent training is not available in Cardiff. Students are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
