Outside the Classroom
The primary purpose of these courses is to ensure that learners communicate with each other and fluent speakers in Welsh. During the course a number of excursions and lectures will be held as an integral part of the learning process with the aim of extending learners' linguistic skills and appreciation of Welsh life and culture. Taking students out of the classroom and using Welsh in other contexts is of great benefit to the learning process as well as being informative and fun.
We also try to ensure that people enjoy the course and use their Welsh language skills in a relaxed informal environment and to that end we arrange informal social meetings after class once a week. This is a great opportunity to get to know other learners and tutors, practise your Welsh and of course have a good time! Quite simply the more you use the language the better.
