Elizabeth Warman

Elizabeth holds MA degrees from Bryn Mawr college (Pa.) and the University of Paris in French and English, as well as the Agrégation.  She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, with the Diploma in Translation, and she translates for critical and philosophical journals, as well as for medical research projects.

She has taught and practiced translation for many years, at the University of Nancy-II and for the School of European Studies and the Centre for Lifelong Learning at Cardiff University.  In her on-line course she prepares students to sit the annual examinations for the Diploma in Translation, and is currently offering classroom practice in solving some of translation’s most debated problems.
