High Level Translation
French-English Distance Learning Course

Enrolment details for the new course starting in April 2010 will be posted on the website early February.

Our High-Level Translation Distance Learning Course has been specifically designed to prepare candidates for the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

The entire course focuses on Unit 01 (which used to be called Paper 1) which requires the translation of a 600-word press article. Skills acquired during the course will also be beneficial to Papers 2 and 3, but it is important to stress that the course does not specialise in any of the linguistic fields offered for these Papers.

The course consists of two modules running from end of April to early January with a break during the summer and Christmas. Examinations are held every year in January.
