La CILS
La Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera (CILS) are internationally recognised Italian language exams organised by the University of Siena (Italy). Cardiff University is a centre for the exams and you can sit these in Cardiff in June each year. The exams consist of four levels, each of which is made up of modular units. The following levels are available:

Our weekly courses will give you ample opportunity to study Italian . Your language tutor will give you further information on which level is appropriate for you.
To enrol for the examinations, you must:
- Complete the application form which is available from Siân Austin.
- Supply a photocopy of one form of identification (passport, driving licence, ID card etc).
- The deadline for registration is April 20th 2012 please contact Siân Austin to register.
- The exam will take place on June 7th 2012.
