One of four Creative Industry Knowledge Exchange Hubs funded by the AHRC. REACT behaves as a mini Research Council and will fund >42 discrete KE projects between partner HEIs and Creative Partners, co-produced with iShed at Watershed. The individual projects will maximise benefits to the HEIs and Creative Partners as well as providing examples of develop best practice. The activities of REACT will be researched, collated and presented by the researchers. Cardiff University is also developing a sub-network known as REACT in Wales to better serve the Welsh Creative Economy.

Research Impact

Individual projects will have a quantifiable economic benefit to the Creative Partner, as well as widening access to and therefore impact of, supporting academic research. The project over all will develop a best practice for KE in the Creative Industry as well as a substantial legacy for ongoing KE collaborations of this type across the region to include wider understanding; wider funding opportunities; functioning networks of academics and partners; greater knowledge of Humanities research in the region; functional centres (virtual or material) for KE in Humanities Research in Cardiff.
