Cardiff Future of Newspapers Conference
This conference has now passed. Many thanks to all of those who contributed and made the event such a success.
Overview of the Conference
The Cardiff Centre for Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies hosted a conference on 12 & 13 September 2007 called 'Future of Newspapers'.
The Call for Papers generated a substantial response from the international scholarly community, promising lively discussion and debate at the conference. The opening plenary by Peter Preston, ex-Editor of The Guardian (UK) offered reflections on "Trends and Predictions for Newspapers in the 21st Century".

The organising themes for the conference sessions were:
