What was the best thing about your course?
The module choices were very good, so we got taught a wide range of journalistic theories and practice in a short space of time.
Why did you choose to study at Cardiff University?
I did my undergrad at Cardiff University and did not want to leave.
Describe the Cardiff social life?
The Cardiff Social life is really good, not only do you have the night life and social places in town, but the Student Union is an amazing place to hang out and make friends.
Why would you recommend Cardiff to potential students?
Cardiff University is amazing, it not only has good courses and excellent lecturers but it caters to International and EU students which was ideal for me and made me feel very welcome.
What do you plan to do next?
In the future I plan on hopefully working at a publishing house as an intern in America, if that does not pan out, travelling it will be.
Finally, describe your Cardiff experience in one sentence!
Being a student at Cardiff University has been one of the most scary, most enjoyable times of my life, I will never forget it.

What was the best thing about your course?
The best thing about Journalism Studies was the expert tuition we received. Lectures were always thoughtfully prepared and delivered, and staff were supportive and helpful throughout. The breadth of topics and choice on offer exceeded my expectations. My media analysis and knowledge improved steadily as the year went on, as well as my confidence. Plus on my course I met friends for life!

Why did you choose to study at Cardiff University?
I chose to study Journalism at Cardiff University as I was aware of their high standing in this field. The expertise of the department here was a large influencing factor in me choosing this course. I also liked the look of the modules on offer, and the academic focus of the course.
Describe the Cardiff social life?
Cardiff is a relatively small but vibrant city, with lots of good bars and restaurants. The people here are friendly, and Cardiff Bay is a great day trip.
Why would you recommend Cardiff to potential students?
The JOMEC department are welcoming and supportive of MA students, especially if you do not have previous experience in your subject area. The degree is excellently taught and resourced, and you will find the city pleasant to live in.

What was the best thing about your course?
The diversity of the course is the best bit. The course covers the media as a whole and you get to learn about all different aspects of the industry rather than focus on just one part.
Why did you choose to study at Cardiff University?
The JOMEC department at Cardiff has a great reputation and having met with the lecturers and understood the possible learning outcomes of the modules it was the perfect choice!
Describe the Cardiff social life?
Cardiff is a very up and coming place. There are loads of news places to go out and all the students are very friendly and interesting as they come from all over the world!
Why would you recommend Cardiff to potential students?
It's a really friendly place and the JOMEC department is really well organised and receptive to any queries. The campus is beautiful, particularly the buildings and bute park and the MA courses cover a great deal of material to help you learn as much as possible.

The internationally diverse friends and classmates and humility of lecturers.

It was ranked as one of the top Universities for journalism and media studies by my government

Its location as a city with an abundance of activities and the surrounding breathtaking natural landscapes of Wales
