Yn 2012 graddiais o Brifysgol Granada gyda Meistr Ymchwil mewn Astudiaethau Cyfieithu a Dehongli a phenodwyd Cyfieithydd y Tyngdod Saesneg gan Weinyddiaeth Materion Tramor Sbaen, yr Undeb Ewropeaidd a Chydweithrediad. Cyn hyn, astudiais radd israddedig mewn Cyfieithu a Dehongli yn Granada.
Ar ôl cwblhau fy astudiaethau, dysgais Sbaeneg fel modiwl Iaith Dramor, Cyfieithu a Dehongli ym Mhrifysgol Ulster. Ymunais â'r Adran Astudiaethau Sbaenaidd ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd yn 2015 ac ar hyn o bryd rwy'n addysgu modiwlau Iaith Sbaeneg a Chyfieithu Arbenigol ar lefel israddedig ac ôl-raddedig.
O ran fy nyletswyddau gweinyddol, rwyf wedi ymgymryd ag ystod eang ac amrywiol o rolau yn yr Ysgol. Ar hyn o bryd, fi yw Cyfarwyddwr Academaidd Llwybrau at Ieithoedd Cymru, prosiect allgymorth cydweithredol Cymru gyfan sy'n hyrwyddo gwelededd, derbyniad a phroffil ieithoedd mewn ysgolion yng Nghymru. Fel rhan o'm hymchwil rwy'n gweithio ar ddefnyddio deunyddiau clyweledol yn yr ystafell ddosbarth Sbaeneg fel Iaith Foreing, yn enwedig y defnydd o ddeunyddiau clyweledol yn y dosbarthiadau cyfieithu a myfyrwyr fel cyd-grewyr ar gyfer datblygu modiwlau ac asesu.
Ar hyn o bryd, rwy'n rhan o brosiect Ysgol gyfan o'r enw 'Dysgu iaith ac asesu gyda ChatGPT a chatbots eraill sy'n seiliedig ar Ddeallusrwydd Artiffisial' sy'n ceisio deall sut mae myfyrwyr yn defnyddio chatbots AI yn ogystal ag ymchwilio i sut i integreiddio'r offer hyn mewn modd effeithlon a moesegol yn ein hymarfer addysgu.
