Yiming Wang wins 2010 Springer Award

Yiming Wang has won the 2010 Springer Award for an outstanding paper in the field of Regional Science. It was awarded for his paper, “Decomposing the Entropy Index of Racial Diversity: In Search of Two Types of Variance”, which was presented at the 49th Western Regional Science Association (WRSA) Annual Meeting in Sedona, Arizona. As a result of this award, his paper will be published in the peer-reviewed Annals of Regional Science, the official journal of the WRSA.
Yiming also won the Tiebout Prize at last year’s WRSA Annual Meeting for best paper submitted by a Ph.D. student.
