Cardiff Case Studies – Geographical Research for FE Teachers

Tuesday 12th June 2012 - 10:00am
Glamorgan Building

Our 2011 event was described by one Head of Geography as:
'Thoughtful, intelligent and one of the best training courses I have ever attended as a teacher.'

The aim of the event is to improve links between Higher Education and A-level/Further Education providers through the dissemination of high quality Geographical research. Geography teachers will be presented with examples of recent Geographical studies that might be used as case studies to supplement the teaching of Geography at A-level. Teachers will have the opportunity to talk informally with the authors of the case studies and these case studies will be available after the event to download for use with students.

A delegate fee of £100 should be paid by cheque prior to the event and should be made payable to Cardiff University. Please send your payment to: Ms Geraldine Bousie, Cardiff School of City and Regional Planning,
Glamorgan Building, King Edward VII Avenue, Cardiff, CF10 3WA.

When registering please select 'Other' under the 'Company' section. Please book early as places are limited.
