Clinical trials

We provide expert support in the design of clinical trials across medical and public health virology. Many members of our team work closely with the Centre for Trials Research, enabling us to facilitate collaborative discussions and explore opportunities for clinical trial partnerships through this connection.

Mathematical modelling

We have expertise and interest in collaborating on projects which focus on the transmission and dynamics of infectious diseases.

Evaluation of public health intervention

We have extensive expertise in designing and evaluating public health interventions, using both randomised and non randomised approaches. Our team works in close partnership with several communicable disease units within Public Health Wales, enabling strong collaborative links and applied research opportunities.

PPIE/stakeholder engagement

We can support partners in developing effective PPIE and stakeholder engagement approaches that strengthen the relevance, acceptability, and impact of their work. This includes designing engagement plans, connecting with public contributors and community organisations, and advising on best practice in co production.

Engaging with policy officials

We can help researchers engage effectively with policy officials, ensuring that research evidence is accessible, relevant, and positioned to inform policy development.
