The Sir Martin Evans Building is located between Park Place and Museum Avenue. The main entrance is located on College Lane, a lane between Park Place and Museum Avenue. Level access to the Sir Martin Evans Building is via an accessible external lift, which is located on College Lane. The external lift can only be used with an activated University card. Please contact your tutor, manager or security to have your University card validated for this lift.

The main entrance of the Sir Martin Evans Building is located on College Lane and can also be accessed by a ramp or steps. There are two sets of automatic doors to enter the building.

There is also an entrance to the Sir Martin Evans Building from the CUCHDS Deck area. This area can be accessed from the Tower Building or the ramp between Security and the Tower Building. The ramp between the Security and Tower buildings is a steep ramp. There is a handrail on the right hand side. Vehicles do use this ramp, so please take care.

The reception desk is opposite the main entrance doors. The desk is low and is staffed with porters and security staff Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) 07:30-18:00hrs. To contact the Sir Martin Evans Building reception please telephone +44 (0)29 2087 6704.

The accessible toilet on the ground floor is in the East wing of the building, room number E/0.11. From the main entrance, follow the corridor to the left. Take the corridor on the right, past the East wing lift and the accessible toilet is on the right.

There are two lifts in the Sir Martin Evans Building. The lift to the right of the main entrance provides access to the upper East Wing floors. The lift to the left of the main entrance provides access to the West and Central wings of the Sir Martin Evans Building. For security purposes, this lift can only be operated by security staff. Use this lift for level access to the John Pryde and Physiology B Lecture Theatres.

There is a coffee shop and seating area to the right of the main entrance.

Parking

The Sir Martin Evans Building does not have a car park.

On-street parking is available along Park Place and Museum Avenue, which is free for blue badge holders.

There are designated parking areas for Blue Badge Holders along Park Place.

Bicycle parking

There are 38 bicycle parking spaces shared between three locations around the building.
