Maths and Education Building
The Maths and Education Building is situated on Senghennydd Road.There is an accessible route around the building opposite the car park, accessed from the side road off Senghennydd Road. There is a fairly steep ramp leading to the accessible path around the building from Senghennydd Road, with which some people might require assistance. There is also stepped access with handrails leading to the main entrance.
The lift is opposite the main entrance and to the left. This lift is not suitable for all types of wheelchairs, however it can accommodate a standard sized wheelchair. There is a mirror at the rear of the lift and fitted handrails. The reception desk is to the right of the main entrance and is fitted with an induction loop for people with a hearing impairment.
There is an accessible Cyber Cafe in the Maths and Education Building which is located ahead and to the right of the main entrance. There is a shop, seating area, snack vending machines and computers.
On the ground floor the accessible male toilet is next to reception (room number M/0.03); and the accessible female toilet is left from the main entrance at the end of the corridor (room number E/0.19). On the first floor there is a female accessible toilet close to the lift (room number M/1.01).
University car parks are monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and foot patrol officers.
Only authorised vehicles that have paid for parking can use the car parks.
Blue Badge holders can park for free but will need to email their vehicle registration number to Carparking@cardiff.ac.uk within 24 hours of their visit.
There are 2 accessible parking bays behind the Education Building. There is street parking on Senghennydd Road where blue badge holders can park free of charge.
