Open Days and visits for undergraduate study

Experience what it's like to study and live in Cardiff, by exploring our campus and city and meeting our staff and students.

Our Undergraduate Open Days give prospective students first-hand experience of studying and living in Cardiff.

Our Open Days typically take place from 09:00 to 16:00 with a range of activities planned across the day including subject tours and drop in sessions, campus tours, UCAS talks and our insider’s guide to Cardiff.

We hope to hold more Open Days in 2022. In the meantime, you can find out about studying at Cardiff with our on-demand content.

Before you visit our campus, you can get a feel for what we offer by browsing our accommodation or taking our virtual tour.

Self-guided campus tour

You can use our self-guided campus tour to help you explore our Cathays Park campus, which is located just a few minutes' walk from Cardiff's city centre.

The tour lasts approximately one hour, but you can also take several optional detours, depending on what you'd like to visit.

Due to COVID-19, certain restrictions may be in place. For everyone’s safety, please adhere to any extra measures in place.

Fairs and conventions

We will be attending Higher Education fairs and exhibitions next year. So, if you are unable to attend our Open Days, there will still be plenty of opportunities to talk to us at virtual fairs and conventions.

Virtual talks

We will be running a series of higher education webinars for Year 12 and 13 students between December - January, covering all the important things you need to think about when applying to university.
