Postgraduate campus tours

If you are interested in postgraduate study at Cardiff, or if you have already applied to one of our courses, our student-led campus tours are a great way for you to find out more about what it’s like to study with us.

Join one of our student ambassadors for a tour around our Cathays Park campus. Tours will give you an overview of university buildings and the opportunity to ask a current student about their experience studying as a postgraduate student in Cardiff.

Campus tours are only available on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Request a tour

Please ensure you request a tour at least two weeks in advance of the date you wish to visit, so that we have enough time to inform our student ambassadors and check their availability.

We will do our very best to deliver a campus tour for when you have requested one but if we are unable to, we will be in touch to discuss alternative times/dates that may work for you.

Before you visit

Before you join us, please consider this important information.

  • tours will last for up to 1 hour
  • tours will be held outside, covering many of the buildings on our Cathays Park campus
  • tour will be undertaken on foot, so please wear suitable footwear and bring an umbrella, if needed
  • accessibility requirements can be provided upon booking
  • no academic staff will be present

If you have any questions prior to your visit, or if you wish to visit our Heath Park campus, please get in touch. 

Our student tour guides are unable to provide detailed application information, and it is unlikely that the ambassador leading your tour will be from the course you are interested in.
