Connecting cricket and business
Adam hopes to take forward the importance of listening to others, combining ideas and working hard to find the right solution in his future career.
Adam was drawn to the vibrant city of Cardiff thanks to the university’s great reputation – and cricket setup!
Throughout his Business Management degree he’s been able to manage academics with sports, and credits the Business School for their support in helping him to enjoy both without sacrificing either.
He’s experienced invaluable teamwork and collaboration both on and off the pitch, and states that the engagement and interaction with others has been key to his learning experience.
Adam hopes to take forward the importance of listening to others, combining ideas and working hard to find the right solution in his future career. We hope the strong foundations he’s laid at Cardiff University help him to do just that.
“I play for both the Cardiff University team and the UCCE team, which includes Cardiff Metropolitan and the University of South Wales. It’s been an incredible experience, playing good cricket and feeling that sense of camaraderie. Cricket has really taught me the importance of teamwork, which ties into what I’ve learned in my Business Management course."
