Global Health Network
While definitions of global health vary, broadly it is focused on improving health and health equity for everyone worldwide, addressing gaps in both research and provision of health services to underserved populations.
Our aims
Cardiff University Global Health Network has been set up to develop and support inter- and multi-disciplinary research on global health within the university and beyond, and to bring together people with lived experience, academics, clinicians, and university staff involved in global health research. We aim to foster a supportive learning environment.
Our long-term objectives include supporting bidirectional learning between Wales and the UK with international collaborators and supporting the profile of research and teaching in global health in Wales.
