About

We have a specific expertise in Welsh and British economic history, although our interests are international. Members’ ongoing research includes work on the first systematic economic history of Wales in the modern era, the Gold Standard in interwar Poland and international telegraphy during the golden age of globalisation.

Recent research has featured in the Journal of the British Academy, Journal of Development Economics, and Journal of Economic History as well as monographs with Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press.
