Refining a toolkit for measuring attendee engagement and sustainable behaviour changes at sport events - a focus on rugby union supporters
This project assesses the ability of major sport events to engage spectators and drive forward important behaviour changes, and focuses on rugby union supporters.
About
There is currently a lack of measurement tools to assess the ability of major sport events to engage spectators and drive forward important sustainable behaviour changes.
This project involves:
- testing our behaviour change measurement tool with supporters of Dragons RFC
- demonstrating how results can inform the design of environmental sustainability initiatives and communications on Eco-match days and during the season
- measuring their effectiveness in engaging supporters and encouraging behaviour changes
This research will enable us to understand the value and challenges in using our ‘toolkit’ and identify areas for further refinement for wider sport audiences and end-users.
