Long term evaluation of Swansea Councils new build housing

Swansea Council have embarked on a programme of constructing low carbon new build homes and want to evaluate the performance of these homes to inform the design of future developments that are based on the Solcer House concept.

Swansea Council want to understand how the design of their new homes are helping to reduce carbon emissions, improve the lives of their residents and provide a good quality, sustainable housing stock. Building and systems monitoring work being carried out by WSA will provide Swansea Council with evidence regarding the benefits of incorporating low carbon solutions into their new homes and will help to identify challenges that will need to be overcome in future developments.

This will help to understand how we can progress towards net zero carbon targets for 2050.
