Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory

Our Robotics and Autonomous Systems laboratory provides cutting-edge robotic facilities, including two Kuka LBR iiwa robots and three Kuka mobile robots, to support a broad range of research activities.

The laboratory is in the process of acquiring an advanced service robot, Care-O-Bot 4, from Fraunhofer IPA in Germany. We are currently researching safe physical human robot collaboration, autonomous navigation with mobile robots in unstructured environments, intelligent digital factories, distributed collaborative robots, human gesture understanding, and human robot interaction with multimodal human computer interfaces, such as gaze tracking.
