We are proud to hold the Athena SWAN Bronze Award and we continually strive to ensure gender equality. The last round was in April 2016, currently extended to November 2021.

I am thrilled that the school has been awarded Athena SWAN bronze recognition. The award is external validation of the environment, working practices and culture of the school that support the careers of women scientists particularly and which benefits all who work in the school.
We are a member of Athena SWAN, which recognises our commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine.
