My duties as Postgraduate Research Office Manager, in the School of Engineering, include:

Managing the activities of the PG Research Admin Office;
Providing advice and guidance on student management processes and procedures to both postgraduate students and academic Staff;
Co-ordinating student management processes and procedures;
Providing administrative support to the Director of PG Studies in the resolution of complex student cases;
PGR Student complaint Co-ordinator;
Managing the Ethical Review Application process;
Providing advice and guidance to School staff in the administration and monitoring of academic, and PGR visitors, to ensure compliance with University and external bodies legislative requirements (e.g. UKBA);
Providing secretarial support to Energy and the Environment Theme;
Providing secretarial support to the Research Forum


Education and Qualifications

Certificate in Astronomy
PG Certificate in Business Administration
BSc (Hons) Information Technology and Computing
HNC Computing

Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET)
