Spanish for Post-Beginners (online course)

This intensive course is for you if you have attended one year of part-time study or you have rusty 'O' levels (GCSE) in Spanish.

You will get ample opportunity to practise your Spanish conversational skills. Students from the Beginners are also welcome.

Topics will include:

  • meeting new people
  • talking about what we do on holiday
  • likes and dislikes
  • hiring a car
  • buying or renting a house
  • at a restaurant
  • regions of Spain.

Pre-enrolment is essential for access to our online-platform

Audio material is available throughout the summer via our online learning platform.

Learning and teaching

The emphasis of the course is on participation and practice.

You will be encouraged to actively participate in class through various friendly activities designed to stimulate communication.

Each session will total 18 hours with a mixture of live sessions and preparatory sessions. You will receive the link to the Zoom session a few days before the course commences.

There will be 2 hours tuition via live-webinars and 1.5 hour scheduled preparation for each session.

Coursework and assessment

Continuous assessment via class participation.
