Alumni discount on postgraduate study extended

Alumni can now receive a 20% discount on tuition fees on eligible master’s programmes.
The alumni discount on postgraduate study has been extended to offer 20% off fees for home, international and European students.
Previously, UK alumni were able to claim a reduction of £1,000 and international alumni £2,000, when they returned to study at Cardiff University. This new enhanced discount will see UK postgraduate students receive a full 20% off their fees on full-time and part-time postgraduate taught master’s degrees.
Around 40% of postgraduate students are returning alumni, however the cost-of-living crisis, as well as the lasting impact of COIVD on economies worldwide, is making postgraduate study unaffordable for many. In Wales, the level of financial support available has been cut further, with the recent withdrawal of Welsh Government funded postgraduate grants.

We know these are difficult times for many, so we’re pleased to be helping to reduce financial barriers to further study and making it accessible to even more Cardiff graduates.
