Dr Eshrar Latif invited to be a key note speaker at International conference and Symposium

Dr Eshrar Latif, Course Leader for the MSc in Sustainable Mega Buildings, has been invited to be a key note speaker at two high profile events.

The 3rd International Congress on Contemporary Architecture and Urban Affairs (ICCAUA 2020) will be held in Antalya, Turkey on 6-8 May 2020. The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of the contemporary concerns, methods and approaches to architecture and urbanism. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Architecture and Urbanism.

Dr Latif has been invited as a key note speaker at the conference to share his expertise in the hygrothermal performance of building envelopes, low energy buildings, passive design and low carbon building materials and energy impact at urban level.

Dr Latif also recently gave a key note speech at the ‘Symposium on the Infrastructure development – shaping the future using bio-based solutions for structures and buildings’ that was held at Liverpool John Moores University on 14 October 2019. Participated by Liverpool John Moores University, Norwegian Technical University, BRE, ICE, CEUK and CEGeorgTech, the symposium aimed to provide a forum for industry and academics to discuss trends and develop strategy for a research agenda aligned with the Infrastructure Strategy.
