Staff conduct on social media - 06/07/22

We are aware of comments made by a current member of University staff on a personal social media account. It is important to stress that these comments do not reflect the views and/or opinions of Cardiff University.

We have guidance for staff on the use of social media on our intranet. As an employee, we expect all uses of personal social media to follow the same standards that students and staff must follow as highlighted in our Dignity at Work and Study Policy and our IT regulations.

As a result, we can confirm that we are investigating a number of complaints. Therefore, it would be inappropriate to comment further until our investigations have concluded.
