If you have excelled in your studies or completed ground-breaking research, maybe you’ve beaten all the odds to achieve your degree, or perhaps your time at the university is leading you in a new and exciting direction.
Whatever your challenges and achievements, we would like to share your stories with local and national media contacts and on our social media channels.
If you have a story to tell, email us at communications@cardiff.ac.uk with the following information:
- name
- contact telephone number (home/mobile)
- contact email address
- degree
- School
- date and time of your Graduation ceremony
- home newspaper(s)
- newsworthy information, plus images, if possible.

Publication of information and images
Graduates, guests, and staff attending Graduation should know that all aspects of these events may be publicly shared.
Ceremonies
Audio and visual images of the ceremony are publicly available. Graduates, guests, and staff consent to this publication by participating in this event.
Social media posts
User-generated content related to Graduation will be curated by the social media team and displayed on screens and at venues across campus.
Content will be sourced from posts that tag the central University social media accounts (@cardiffuni and @prifysgolcdydd) and/or include the Graduation hashtags, #CardiffGrad and #GraddCdydd.
