Dr. Kauser A Chaudhry received his MSc (2001) in Microwave and Opto-electronics from University College London (UCL). He completed his Ph.D. at Cardiff University (2019) where he is working as a researcher in PA design and characterization for the emerging base station and microwave heating applications. Kauser has over 15 years of industrial experience, working for companies like Nokia, Panasonic, and NXP Semiconductors.
Bywgraffiad
I received my B.Eng. Hons degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 1994, an M.Sc. degree in Microwave and Optoelectronics from University College London in 2001, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Wales in 2005. I have over 20 years of experience and since receiving my M.Sc. I have worked as a senior and principal design engineer for Nokia, Panasonic, and NXP (Ampleon) semiconductors. My work has focused on designing and manufacturing RF power transistors and amplifiers for base station applications. My research at Cardiff University has focused on Power Amplifier design for base-station and other emerging markets such as microwave heating applications. My other research interests include RF Power Amplifier design for non-50ohm load environments.
