I am an optometrist and researcher. My main clinical interests lie in paediatric optometry and low vision, and my research interests are in clinical research and public health. I am currently working on a public health project examining acute conditions in primary and secondary eye care.

I undertook my postgraduate research studies at City, University of London and am in the final stages of completing my thesis. This research funded by the College of Optometrists and looks at the functional and structural assessment of retinal disease through ocular electrophysiology and optical coherence tomography. My PhD involved participant recruitment and data collection at City, University of London, and within medical retina clinics at both St Thomas' Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.

I have previously taught and assessed on postgraduate Glaucoma, Medical Retina, Ophtalmic Paediatrics, and Advanced Nurse Practitioner Paediatrics modules at City, University of London. I am currently a clinical tutor on various WOPEC courses including; Optical Assistant Training Course, EHEW Accreditation, C21 Ophthalmology (Undergraduate Medicine).
