Step Up masterclasses
A series of academic workshops for young people aged 16 to 17 that cover various subjects, giving an insight into university learning and teaching.
Over the course of the six academic masterclasses in their chosen subject, participants will:
Connect
with current staff, students and other participants.
Build
subject knowledge and key academic skills.
Engage
in an amazing experience to add to UCAS applications and CVs.
Each masterclass gives a broad overview of the chosen subject and will develop a participant's skills including, but not limited to, communication, research and study skills, presentation skills and critical analysis.

- Business, Accounting and Economics
- Science, Technology and Maths
- Healthcare Sciences
Applications are usually open between November and January.
