Cancer metastasis modelling platform

CCMRC has developed the UK's only cancer metastasis platform. The platform is a unique service that we provide which enables the testing and analysis of agents or molecules that can contribute to the spread of cancer.

Video introducing the cancer metastasis platform

If you have an agent or a device which you need to test, we can help. We have facilities which are available for you to use and experts on hand to assist you with any new techniques and equipment. The expertise of our team covers almost all areas of cancer metastasis research. The platform will provide you with a means to thoroughly test your agent or device, from molecular discovery to in vivo testing.

We will do our best to ensure you achieve your aims within your timescales. A number of researchers are currently taking advantage of what we have to offer and we will continue to accommodate as many requests as possible.

The ECIS platform is an excellent tool which is easy to set up and creates large quantities of data with minimal lab time required. I would definitely recommend using this platform.

Funding

This platform was set up by funding provided by the Life Science Research Network and is one of just six platforms in Wales. We are the only cancer metastasis modelling platform in Wales and the UK, making it a one-of-a-kind facility. Please contact us for costs to use this service.
