The Cardiff Catalysis Institute Electron Microscopy Facility houses an extensive range of advanced electron microscopes and specimen preparation equipment for materials and biological samples analysis.
We aim to deliver expertise and capability in nanomaterial imaging, analysis and characterisation facilitating new approaches to catalyst design and synthesis.
The £9M custom-built facility was funded by support and investment from the Welsh Government, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), HEFCW and the Wolfson Foundation.
