If you wish to study part-time for an undergraduate degree please visit the Cardiff University undergraduate part-time study web page for details.
If you are an international student wishing to study for one of our degrees or to study in Cardiff on a short-term exchange please visit the Cardiff University International Students web pages for further information.
Applications for postgraduate taught degrees (MA/MSc/MTh/Postgraduate Diploma/Postgraduate Certificate) and research degrees (MPhil/PhD) can be made electronically via the online application service. Please check the webpage for your chosen degree programme carefully for specific entry requirements or application procedures.
If you prefer, you can use a paper application form.
Applicants for the MA/MSc should use the Personal Statement section of the form to outline their area of interest and the topic that they hope to research for their dissertation.
You can apply at any time of the year, and your application will be considered as soon as we have received all your references and supporting documents, so please ensure that they are sent promptly.
There is no deadline for applications, although overseas applicants are strongly advised to apply before 1 August, so that there is time to make the necessary arrangements to come to Cardiff for the start of teaching in late September.
