Dafydd ap Gwilym project
Dr Dylan Foster Evans is one of a team of scholars who have produced a new edition of the poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym.
The aim of this exciting project, funded by the AHRC and led by Professor Dafydd Johnston of Swansea University, was to produce an electronic edition of the works of the greatest Welsh poet of the Middle Ages.
This electronic edition gives the reader access to much more information than can be included in traditional printed books, such as the different versions of the poems as they are found in the early manuscripts. But the project will also publish the new edition of the poems in two or more traditional volumes. Read the electronic edition.
