90 in 09 Celebration - Terry Turner OBE with the Head of School
As part of the celebrations of 90 years of teaching of Pharmacy in Cardiff, and to coincide with the anniversary of the first prize giving of the then Welsh College of Pharmacy on 21st October 1920, the 'Turner Collection' of pharmacy artefacts was formally handed over to the School in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, invited alumni, past and present staff and postgraduate students.
The event took place in the Refectory area of the Redwood Building and included an impressive poster display depicting current research and teaching activities of the School.
