Course Structure
Diploma
The Diploma in Pharmacy Clinical Practice is a two-year part-time course, consisting of four modules per academic year (September to May), with a study weekend to support each module.
Students usually take two years to complete the Diploma, but can take up to a maximum of four years of study.
Certificate
Students leaving after one year (or those registered for the certificate only) will be awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Clinical Practice if they successfully complete the year.
Stand-alone modules
Each module can be taken alone but students are expected to submit course work and sit an exam or practical skills assessment in order to gain the credits.
MSc
After completion of the Diploma, students may be allowed to progress to the MSc year, following production of a viable research protocol. Research methods training is provided during the MSc year where students are expected to undertake a piece of research and submit a dissertation at the end.
