Lubeck ladies!

The two students, Katie Demery and Helen Berry were selected from a number of students who applied to attend a two week intensive dispensing course at the Fielmann Academy, near Lubeck. Fielmann Academy trains optometrists and dispensing opticians. Over the last three years, Cardiff School of Optometry has received exchange students from Fielmann who have come to experience some Welsh optometry. However, this is the first year that Cardiff students are off to experience a taste of German dispensing.
Dr Helen Court, who is responsible for this scheme said "this is a unique and exciting opportunity for our students to experience optometric training outside the UK”.
