The Great Journalists Archive

This archive hosts a selection of fascinating and intriguing interviews conducted by Master’s students, enrolled on the ‘Great Journalists’ module, available to MA International Journalism, MA Political Communication and MA Journalism, Media and Communication degree programmes.

Each student selected an outstanding journalist from their own country, to interview about her/his own professional journalism work.

The ‘Great Journalists’ module explores the life and work of journalists whose engagement with political, economic and social issues has defined norms and standards of modern journalism.

Through the interview, students are required to demonstrate an ability to identify, describe, discuss and analyze work of journalists whose engagement with social reality carries the attributes of journalism excellence: the quality of writing, the rigour of reporting, relevance and originality.
