Philosophy
We are a small, friendly, vibrant community covering the full range of philosophy. Our work addresses core philosophical issues as well as contributing to interdisciplinary projects and considering practical moral problems. We are in the unusual position of being grounded equally in the analytic and continental traditions of philosophy.
Our postgraduate community is thriving and our undergraduate programme extremely popular. There is a range of activities available in addition to the curriculum, from our visiting speaker programme and regular workshops through to the philosophy society events and film club.
