Call for Poster Presentations

Participants at the summer school are encouraged to submit an abstract for a Poster Presentation.  Accepted proposals will be presented at a poster session. Deadline for submissions is August 1st 2014. Send abstracts of 500 words to

A full bursary, funded by Cardiff University and covering fees, transport, food and accommodation (to a maximum of fees + £1,000) is available for participants without institutional funding.
Those eligible for the funding should send a CV and covering letter, stating how their work relates to SFL; how much funding is being sought; and how this money will be used.

Applications for funding should reach us by 15th April and we will advise all applicants of the results as soon as possible afterwards.

Registration and course fee

There are a limited number of places available so please book early. The summer school will only run if the minimum number of places are filled. The registration form is now available from the menu in the top right section of this page. Please note that we cannot accept online payments. Registration is only complete once payment is received.

The registration fee for the full three days of the summer school is £235.00. The fee will include course materials, bibliography, and Certificate of Attendance. Meals are not included in the registration fee. There is a cafeteria in the building and there are many local shops, pubs and cafes in the immediate area for those who want to purchase their own food and refreshments rather than bring their own.
